About the Role

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the computing solutions space. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and developing strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including government agencies, data centers, gaming companies, and high-performance computing organizations
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cold calling and lead qualification
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, logistics, and programs, to ensure seamless sales processes
  • Monitor inventory levels, negotiate prices, and manage orders to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 12 years of sales experience in the computer industry, with a proven track record of success in cold calling, lead qualification, and contract negotiation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience tracking and reporting sales data, with a focus on lead activity and customer engagement
  • Proficient in English, with bilingual skills a plus
