About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our efforts in maintaining the quality, efficiency, and integrity of our sales process. This individual will be responsible for evaluating new and existing opportunities for our computing solutions and working with prospects to understand their needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop new accounts in assigned regions and identify opportunities for growth.
  2. Approach customers in government, data centers, cloud, gaming, and HPC sectors.
  3. Responsible for outbound cold calls and potential customers, including system integrators, VARs, and OEMs.
  4. Initiate outbound calls to potential customers and successfully manage relationships.
  5. Qualify opportunities and create target lists for vertical markets.
  6. Develop relationships with strong communications regarding product and marketing information.
  7. Monitor inventory, negotiate price, enter and monitor orders, facilitate credit issues, and negotiate returns.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 12 years of sales experience in the computer market industries, including cold calling, lead qualifying, and contract negotiation.
  3. Passionate about sales activities and experience tracking and reporting data on lead activity.
  4. Successful experience selling technology into corporate accounts and strong communication skills across multiple disciplines, cultures, and geographies.
  5. Track record of successful, credible cold calling and follow-up to executives and decision makers within an organization.
  6. Good understanding of OEM, Web 2.0, Larger Enterprise, and Data Center market.
  7. Demonstrated ability in pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, objection handling, call structure and control, time and territory management.
  8. Experience entering, tracking, and reporting data on lead activity and consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  9. Proficient in English in speaking and writing; bilingual will be a plus.
