Coding Quality Specialist

At St. Luke's Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled Coding Quality Specialist to join our team. As a Coding Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of medical records and coding practices within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness of coding and documentation
- Identify and address coding and documentation errors or discrepancies
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance coding and documentation practices
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete coding and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with changing coding and documentation regulations and guidelines
- Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- 5 years of experience in coding and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
