HR Operations Specialist Job Description

The HR Operations Specialist will oversee a variety of human resources functions within the organization. Key responsibilities include managing the onboarding and offboarding processes, facilitating training sessions, and ensuring adherence to company policies. This role also involves maintaining employee records, providing guidance to management on HR-related issues, and supporting daily operational activities. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in human resources.

Compensation: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate orientation sessions for new employees
  • Support employee recognition initiatives and internal communications
  • Address HR-related inquiries and uphold compliance standards
  • Assist in the execution of various HR programs and processes
  • Manage complaints, investigations, and performance evaluations
  • Collaborate on performance assessments and exit interviews
  • Keep abreast of HR trends and legal regulations

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Human Resources or Business, or equivalent experience
  • Preferred HR Certification
  • At least 3 years of experience in human resources
  • Experience in talent management, leave administration, and workers' compensation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities
  • Knowledgeable in HR laws and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ADP systems
