Position Overview:

The IT Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of technology systems within the organization. This position requires a solid foundation in information technology, along with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess an associate degree in information technology or hold a Comp TIA A+ certification, accompanied by a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the IT sector or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrate extensive troubleshooting capabilities for PCs and networks in a corporate environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of 4+ years in an IT support role is highly regarded. Familiarity with desktop environments and ITIL principles is advantageous.
  • Certifications such as Help Desk Institute Service Center Analyst (HDI-SCA), Google Developers, or Google IT Professionals are preferred. A proven ability in technical skills, customer service, and effective communication is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office 365, with a solid understanding of troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Knowledge of remote network access techniques, including the management of remote access systems through VPN or VDI secured by RSA security products.
  • Experience in diagnosing issues with mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) and wireless connectivity.
  • Additional expertise in troubleshooting network, telecommunications, and various communication platforms, as well as familiarity with data center applications, including job scheduling and monitoring tools.
