Healthcare Support Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Healthcare Support Specialist plays a vital role within the patient care team, aiding in the overall health management of individuals; engages in a diverse range of patient care tasks and supportive services for clinic clientele, often in collaboration with the section Manager; holds primary accountability for all technical operations and the maintenance of the nursing unit.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of formal education, typically evidenced by a high school diploma or equivalent; experience in public interaction; graduation from an accredited medical assistant training program is preferred; current CPR certification is mandatory, along with a solid understanding of medical terminology; extensive medical experience with a focus on primary care is advantageous.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical requirements entail the capability to move, navigate, position oneself, maintain a stationary posture, and manage steps for up to eight hours daily; ability to lift, move, and transport patients, equipment, and supplies; proficient motor coordination and manual dexterity; clear articulation; capacity to read and comprehend instructions; visual clarity.
