Business Development Coordinator

In this role, you will work closely with the Leadership team to drive business growth and development for Vanir. Your primary focus will be on promoting the company's name recognition within specific markets through office visits, advertising, participation in trade shows, and conventions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Develop a comprehensive marketing and advertising budget.
- Identify and participate in trade shows, conventions, conferences, and exhibits that align with the company's marketing strategy.
- Coordinate and arrange convention/exhibit activities, including speaking engagements, hospitality suites, sponsorships of special events, and displays.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key AEC organizations, ensuring consistent and effective participation.
- Identify new business prospects, initiate client contacts, and qualify prospective clients.
- Maintain a database of existing clients and prospective clients, utilizing CRM software (Deltek).
- Assist with various special projects as assigned.
Required Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including grammar, proofreading/editing, and spelling. Proactive in finding information and tracking it into our database (Deltek) and sharing with the team.
Ability to:
Maintain positive working relationships and communicate effectively with coworkers and clients. Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and assignments with conflicting deadlines. Detail-oriented and task-focused, with the ability to think strategically.
Required Education and Experience:- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
- Four+ years of business development and/or marketing experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction fields.
- Strong CRM database knowledge (Deltek).
- Current driver's license with the ability to travel as needed.
The salary range for this position is $80,000-$105,000.
