The HR Coordinator will support the Human Resources department with various initiatives related to compliance, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative tasks.

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting the HR team in a variety of projects that promote effective employee relations and organizational compliance. This role will also involve contributing to the planning and execution of managerial projects and other administrative responsibilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of part-time, seasonal, and intern positions.
- Assist in the verification of employment and management of personnel files.
- Help coordinate the Seasonal Assistant program, including event planning and employee engagement activities.
- Manage merchandise procurement, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Collaborate with the HR team to generate and implement content for professional networking platforms.
- Facilitate employee relations programs, including staff events and recognition initiatives.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from staff regarding employment matters.
- Uphold confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
- Execute organizational tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required Competencies:
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
- Strong capacity to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Capability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in Human Resources, Sports Management, or within collegiate or professional sports environments.
- Familiarity with Dayforce software.
