Position Summary

As the HR Generalist, you will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department to align with both organizational goals and employee needs. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of HR functions, including:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure consistent application of all HR policies across the organization.
  • Provide objective coaching to associates and management on complex issues, guiding appropriate disciplinary actions.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes for hourly associates.
  • Coordinate and maintain employee recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations.
  • Regularly generate and review HR activity reports.
  • Facilitate the interpretation and feedback process for internal customer and employee engagement surveys.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to enhance HR visibility and implement initiatives.
  • Review requests for pay adjustments to ensure fairness and consistency.
  • Prepare and deliver training on HR-related topics.
  • Act as a champion for diversity by leading initiatives focused on recruitment, retention, and promotion.
  • Assist in developing Personal Development Plans for associates.
  • Engage in the Annual Performance Appraisal process.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a human resources generalist role is essential; management experience is a plus.
  • Experience in a large, multi-unit organization is required.
  • Prior experience in a centralized HR environment, preferably within a corporate setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; advanced skills are preferred.
  • Ability to address common inquiries or complaints from various stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills are necessary.
