Job Title: Senior Business Development Capture Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Capture Manager to lead our strategic programmatic business development and capture efforts in the Intelligence Community (IC) district. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying target opportunities, qualifying program pipelines, and serving as the face of Palo Alto Networks to critical mission owners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of business development and capture strategies to drive growth and revenue in the IC district.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including officers, mission owners, and senior decision-makers.
  • Provide market analysis and strategic recommendations to inform business development and capture decisions.
  • Manage and execute capture plans, including proposal development, teaming arrangements, and contract negotiations.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities and to develop and execute sales strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in business development and capture, with a strong understanding of the IC market and its stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate and close complex deals.
  • Experience working with channel and alliance teams, with a strong understanding of the importance of partnerships in driving business growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in the IC market, with a strong understanding of its stakeholders and business drivers.
  • Experience working with product managers, sales engineering, sales operations, legal, and other resources to close complex opportunities.
  • Strong technical expertise, with a deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions and their applications in the IC market.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a partner-driven environment, with a strong understanding of the importance of partnerships in driving business growth.
