About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Capture Manager to join our team at Microsoft Federal. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for leading the capture process for complex, transformational solutions that integrate Microsoft products and services with partner third-party hardware, software, and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Holistic Win Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive win strategies that incorporate Microsoft and partner technical solution considerations.
  • Lead Capture Teams: Oversee the analysis of customers, competitors, and organizational capabilities to define specific capture objectives and develop strategy action plans.
  • Provide End-to-End Orchestration: Ensure the disciplined and objective orchestration of strategic, complex solutions with special terms and conditions or high impact on Microsoft's reputation.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Provide internal and external stakeholder engagement and communications to bring complex/strategic deals to a close.
  • Identify and Recommend Capture Team Roles: Engage leadership to commit required resources and train the capture team in the process to be followed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, transportation, hospitality, automotive, consumer goods, financial services, retail, management consulting, consultative selling, public sector, technology, or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business, or related field.
  • Clearance: Active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience working effectively across internal and external organizations, business development, and partner/channel development.
  • Certifications: Capture training or certifications from industry organizations such as Shipley Associates' Capture and Proposal Management or the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP).
