Job Summary

The University of the District of Columbia seeks a highly skilled and experienced IT Pathway Director to oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of the university's IT Pathway. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals in designing and delivering high-quality IT programs that meet the needs of students, employers, and the local workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of IT programs and courses that align with industry trends and workforce needs.
  • Manage a team of IT professionals, including instructors, trainers, and support staff.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including employers, industry partners, and university administrators, to ensure that IT programs meet the needs of the local workforce.
  • Develop and manage budgets, including operational and capital expenditures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of IT programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT program management, including experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful IT programs that meet the needs of students and employers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
