Harvard Partners Trusted IT Advisors is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Director to spearhead growth within the healthcare sector. This role will focus on cultivating strategic partnerships and securing new contracts with federal healthcare agencies, leveraging your deep understanding of the industry landscape.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and impact within this dynamic market. Your responsibilities will encompass identifying lucrative opportunities, forging strong relationships with key stakeholders, and crafting compelling proposals that showcase our innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential areas of collaboration and value proposition for federal healthcare agencies.
  • Develop and nurture robust relationships with influential decision-makers within these agencies, including senior executives, program managers, contracting officers, and clinical staff.
  • Create persuasive proposals, presentations, and pitches that effectively communicate our capabilities and address the specific needs and objectives of healthcare agencies.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements that align with both our company's goals and the client's expectations.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of our products and services to healthcare agencies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and satisfaction of our clients within the healthcare sector, proactively identifying and resolving any challenges or issues that arise.
  • Provide valuable insights and feedback to senior leadership and product development teams regarding the specific needs, preferences, and feedback from healthcare agencies, suggesting areas for improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field. A Master's degree is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the healthcare industry.
  • 2+ years of experience working directly with healthcare agencies, possessing a strong network of contacts and relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying new opportunities and overcoming challenges.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented individual with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and other relevant software tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
