Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Pathway Director to lead our Information Technology Pathway at the University of the District of Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of our IT programs, ensuring they meet the needs of our students, employers, and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, management, and implementation of complex IT industry recognized certification programs and courses.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and marketplace issues, providing accurate information to stakeholders.
  • Conduct research to ensure our programs meet the needs of all stakeholders within the local workforce system.
  • Manage program/course scheduling, classroom assignments, and facilities utilization.
  • Supervise, train, and oversee the performance of pathway staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with UDC policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, evaluate, and select instructors.
  • Participate in campus, college-wide, and community committees as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent technical degree.
  • Five years of experience in the IT field, including project management, supervision, and/or IT training/education.
  • Three years of operational and/or program/project management experience.
  • Three years of supervisory experience.

The University of the District of Columbia offers a competitive salary range of $72,627-$80,625, as well as health and life insurance, annual and sick leave, and participation in the University's retirement plan (TIAA).
