Guest Services Agent

The Guest Services Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. This position requires a commitment to excellence and a friendly demeanor.
Key Responsibilities- Work part-time during evenings and weekends to accommodate guest needs.
- Employ strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with various departments.
- Support team members with diverse tasks, including operating the courtesy van and assisting with breakfast, laundry, or housekeeping duties.
- Address guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Implement guest satisfaction protocols to ensure a memorable stay.
- Greet and acknowledge guests warmly at the front desk and throughout public areas.
- Maintain accurate room status inventory for operational efficiency.
The hourly wage for this position is $12.85.
Additional Duties- Handle guest registrations, including payment processing and verification.
- Complete shift reports and manage all financial transactions in line with company policies.
- Assist with guest reservations via phone, following established procedures.
- Respond to inquiries about hotel services, local attractions, and directions.
- Manage incoming communications, including phone calls and mail.
- Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front desk area.
- Restock the mini-market as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist in the filing and follow-up of work orders.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Document and store lost-and-found items according to hotel policy.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in the hospitality sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in common Windows-based applications is essential.
