Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at ACC Environmental Consultants, Inc. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions and supporting our employees throughout their lifecycle with the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Selection
    • Manage job postings, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
  • Onboarding and Employee Experience
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program to facilitate a smooth transition for new employees.
    • Provide guidance on company policies and procedures to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Benefits Administration and Compliance
    • Administer employee benefits programs, including eligibility, enrollment, and communication.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including benefits and compensation.
  • Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution
    • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Performance Management and Development
    • Support performance management processes through coaching managers and employees, conducting performance reviews, and implementing development plans.
  • Payroll and HR Reporting
    • Support the processing of semi-monthly payroll and ensure accurate HR records and documentation.
    • Provide HR reporting and analysis to support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Proven experience, 4+ years, as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
