Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Director to join our team at Hoamco. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation, and execution of all food-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our community members, ensuring that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Volunteer Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our volunteer kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the storage and handling of all kitchen supplies, equipment, and ingredients, ensuring that all inventory is properly managed and accounted for.
  • Financial Management: Provide financial reports and budgets to management, ensuring that all food-related expenses are accurately tracked and managed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.

Requirements:

  • Master Food Handlers License: Possess a valid Master Food Handlers License, or be willing to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with volunteers, staff, and community members.
