About the Opportunity

Giularos Leadership Search Firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at a prestigious hotel in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily culinary operations of the hotel restaurant, ensuring exceptional quality and service.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to meet the hotel's culinary standards.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events, banquets, and catering services.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of kitchen leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • 3+ years of management experience, with expertise in staff supervision, training, and development.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary arts, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
