The Senior Corporate Communications Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting the department across its diverse areas of responsibility, including corporate, internal, and financial communications. This position requires collaboration with the department's Vice President to prioritize tasks that align with the overarching business goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a background in corporate communications, a solid understanding of the entertainment sector, and experience in financial communications initiatives, such as corporate earnings and mergers and acquisitions announcements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chief Communications Officer and the Vice President with scheduling and other administrative duties, including invoice processing and vendor communications.
  • Draft and refine written materials, including corporate press documents and press releases.
  • Support the preparation of presentations for the Board and earnings calls.
  • Manage trade advertising initiatives for the department.
  • Oversee internal communications, including weekly press coverage summaries and quarterly fact sheets.
  • Update executive biographies and coordinate headshot sessions as necessary.
  • Assist the Vice President in managing television communications, liaising with internal executives and talent representatives.
  • Coordinate internal awards processes, including managing calendars and circulating nominations and wins.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to help achieve departmental objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a business-focused communications environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Internet, Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated research skills and experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to prioritize and work proactively in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment, responding appropriately to urgent situations.
  • Experience collaborating with high-level executives while maintaining integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • A genuine passion for the entertainment industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or relevant business experience.
  • Experience creating executive-level PowerPoint presentations.

Compensation Range

$55,000 – $57,500
