Role Summary
As a Community Relations and Public Affairs Coordinator at Entravision Communications Corporation, you will be pivotal in nurturing connections with our communities and enhancing our initiatives in campaign engagement and public affairs. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Government and Public Affairs, your contributions will be vital in ensuring our organization remains engaged and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support in Public Affairs: Assist the Executive Vice President of Government and Public Affairs in monitoring and interacting with governmental representatives.
  2. Political Campaign Analysis: Keep informed about ongoing political campaigns and initiatives at local, state, and national levels. Evaluate campaign strategies, messaging, and voter demographics to effectively guide our engagement efforts.
  3. Community Relations: Design and execute community engagement strategies to cultivate positive relationships with diverse populations. Organize events, town halls, and outreach initiatives to gather feedback, address concerns, and encourage dialogue.
  4. Administrative Support: Provide logistical and administrative assistance to the Executive Vice President of Government and Public Affairs. Help with scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, or a related discipline.
● Demonstrated experience in political research, community relations, or public affairs.
● Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex political issues and data.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
● Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and research tools.
● Knowledge of the Spanish language and understanding of Hispanic community dynamics is advantageous.
