POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Solutions Manager is pivotal in furthering the mission of Great Minds. As a key member of the Sales Team, this role reports directly to the Regional Sales Managers and is responsible for crafting, presenting, and implementing comprehensive solutions for educational institutions utilizing GM curricula in both print and digital formats, along with professional development and support for implementation. This position offers a remarkable opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to leverage their expertise in support of the growth and mission of Great Minds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strategic initiatives to identify and cultivate new sales prospects within targeted accounts.
  • Engage in prospecting to establish connections (Target audience: Curriculum Directors, Curriculum Coordinators, Coaches, and occasionally Principals and Superintendents).
  • Guide qualified leads through the sales process to closure.
  • Oversee territory management comprehensively.
  • Collaborate closely with Internal Sales Associates and Account Associates to meet established objectives.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated success as a proactive sales professional with a proven ability to initiate new relationships.
  • Experience in K-12 education, professional development, and/or sales is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with sales data management systems such as Salesforce.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Highly organized, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong motivation and drive.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five years of sales experience with a solid understanding of Salesforce is preferred.
  • Experience in educational technology sales and classroom teaching is advantageous.
  • Background in consultative selling is beneficial.
  • Experience in classroom teaching and K-12 leadership or district-level leadership is preferred.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or Liberal Arts.

WORK LOCATION

  • Remote
  • This position is home-based in the Bay Area, near major airports.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Occasional lifting, reaching, and moving products weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be willing to travel 40% - 60% of the time, including domestic air travel and driving, with potential overnight stays.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000-$86,000; however, the offered salary may vary based on numerous factors, including location, experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. The base salary does not include benefits or other incentives.

New hires will need to successfully complete a background check and provide their COVID-19 vaccination status. While COVID-19 vaccination is not a condition of employment, it may affect the ability to perform this role at certain client sites.
