Position Summary:

The MOI Account Executive for Interior Construction is tasked with fostering and overseeing relationships with current clients while also engaging potential clients within MOI's interior construction sector. This role is pivotal in identifying opportunities for furniture leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain robust, enduring relationships with designated clients, including architecture and design firms, general contractors, brokers, project management firms, and interior contractors.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for coordinating all dealer-related activities, services, orders, and personnel for each assigned account, ensuring timely responses to client inquiries and concerns.
  • Comprehend clients' objectives and challenges to deliver customized solutions.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, solicit feedback, and uphold a positive relationship.
  • Champion the client's interests within the organization, offering insights to enhance products and services.
  • Prepare budget estimates and fixed pricing for clients within their specified timelines.
  • Facilitate new formal quote requests to the MOI Sales Development Specialist and submit orders to the Project Coordinator, overseeing technical details and manufacturer communications.
  • Organize an internal kickoff meeting with the Interior Construction Team lead and Sales Director to assign project roles.
  • Formulate account strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, marketing, design, and project management) to ensure alignment and client success.
  • Monitor and report on key account metrics.
  • Introduce new products or services to clients that align with their requirements.
  • Identify additional service opportunities for clients post-sale.
  • Market the full range of dealership products and services, focusing on Interior Construction offerings.
  • Assess the performance and satisfaction levels of assigned accounts.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
  • Respond promptly to client requests for products, services, and quotes for additional solutions.
  • Provide regular project status updates to clients and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee all customer projects and work orders, coordinating with team members to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Review project plans, schedules, and logistics for major client initiatives.
  • Coordinate efforts among team members, including designers, project managers, and installation crews, ensuring balanced workloads and adequate support.
  • Participate in project and account meetings as required.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed for internal company requirements.
  • Establish pricing models that adhere to contract pricing and profit guidelines, consulting with the sales director as needed.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team throughout the bidding process, including proposals, mock-ups, presentations, and post-award support.
  • Engage with external vendors related to construction and installation.
  • Deliver services that reflect the MOI brand and align with the organization's values of teamwork, ownership, and performance.
  • Document customer projects, leads, and sales activities in the MOI Sales Forecast and/or CRM system.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:

A two-year degree in interior design, construction, or furniture, with a focus on customer service and solution development, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves regular standing, walking, and sitting, as well as using hands for various tasks. The employee may need to lift and/or move items weighing up to 5 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The role can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Environment:

The work is primarily in an office setting, generally sedentary but may require standing and walking for brief periods. The environment is typically favorable, with adequate lighting and temperature control.
