Job Overview

Position: Human Resources Assistant (Full-time)

Middleton Family Medicine is on the lookout for a committed and meticulous Human Resources Assistant to enhance our HR team. This role is essential in facilitating various HR functions, including talent acquisition, payroll management, onboarding processes, and employee benefits administration. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organizational capabilities, a solid grasp of HR principles, and the ability to manage confidential information discreetly.

Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition:
  • Support the recruitment process by advertising job vacancies on multiple platforms, evaluating applications, and conducting preliminary interviews.
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring personnel.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) for efficiency.
Payroll Management:
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely input of payroll information.
  • Address payroll-related questions from staff.
  • Keep payroll records and ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards.
Onboarding:
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, including the preparation of necessary documentation and orientation materials.
  • Ensure that new hires complete all required training and paperwork.
Benefits Management:
  • Assist in managing employee benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and assist with enrollment and modifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee benefits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
General HR Assistance:
  • Update and maintain employee records in the HRIS and other relevant systems.
  • Assist in organizing employee training and development initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department.
  • Help coordinate company events and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Required: 1-2 years of experience in an HR support capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Payroll, HRIS, and ATS systems is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with care.

Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour

Working Conditions
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
  • Office environment with standard business hours.
