Overview:
The Slabe Machine Products, Co. is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Process Engineer with a strong emphasis on IT integration. This role is pivotal in designing, executing, and refining manufacturing workflows and systems, with a particular focus on leveraging IT solutions to boost operational efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Design and Enhancement:
    Examine existing manufacturing workflows to pinpoint enhancement opportunities. Develop and implement innovative processes, tools, and methodologies aimed at increasing manufacturing productivity. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for process modeling and simulation.
  • IT System Integration:
    Create and sustain IT frameworks that bolster manufacturing operations. Employ process control methodologies using IT solutions. Guarantee the seamless integration of IT systems with manufacturing machinery.
  • Project Leadership:
    Direct and manage process enhancement initiatives. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure project efficacy. Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Formulate and enforce quality assurance protocols to maintain product uniformity. Conduct assessments and analyses on product designs and manufacturing methods. Keep comprehensive records of quality indicators and process modifications.
  • Training and Development:
    Educate personnel on new processes and IT systems. Provide continuous support and troubleshooting for manufacturing IT infrastructures. Create training resources and documentation.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
    Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations. Investigate and resolve any issues related to processes and operations. Prepare reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Additional certifications in IT, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies are highly regarded.
  • Experience:
    A minimum of 5 years in manufacturing process engineering. Demonstrated experience in IT solution integration within a manufacturing context. Experience in the aerospace and defense sectors is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in CAD software and process simulation tools. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Familiarity with IT systems and their applications in manufacturing.
