Job Summary:

The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Corporate Communications serves as a key player on the Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. Global Corporate Communications team and reports to the CEO, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. North America, based in Princeton, New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive media relations strategy to build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts.
    • Serve as the primary spokesperson for Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. globally, providing timely and effective responses to media inquiries.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement communication strategies that support business objectives.
  • Brand Building:
    • Develop and execute a global brand development strategy to enhance the company's reputation and brand image.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement brand guidelines and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
    • Develop and maintain a global brand manual to ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity.
  • Digital & Social Media:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital and social media strategy to leverage and build a strong brand image for Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement social media content calendars and ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity.
    • Monitor and respond to social media conversations and comments in a timely and effective manner.
  • Crisis Management:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive crisis management plan to minimize the impact of crises on the company's reputation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement communication strategies that support business objectives during crisis situations.
    • Develop and maintain a crisis management manual to ensure consistency in crisis communication and response.
  • Internal Communications:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications plan to engage and inform employees on company news, initiatives, and goals.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement internal communications strategies that support business objectives.
    • Develop and maintain an internal communications manual to ensure consistency in internal messaging and visual identity.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and concise messages.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 7+ years' experience in corporate communications or public relations, with a strong background in media relations, brand development, and crisis management.

Education:

Minimum Bachelor Degree required in Business, Communications, Journalism, English. MBA preferred. Pharmaceutical experience is strongly encouraged.
