Position Overview:

MSA Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to join our dynamic team. This role will provide significant project involvement across various electrical systems within the built environment, including power distribution, illumination, fire alarm systems, data communication, and security solutions. You will gain practical experience working on diverse project types, including educational institutions, municipal facilities, and commercial structures. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects and engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct electrical engineering tasks for various building types, including educational and municipal facilities.
  • Design power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems.
  • Develop low-voltage electrical systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, and security systems.
  • Create drawings using Revit and oversee modeling assignments.
  • Perform code compliance reviews.
  • Review and process shop drawings and submittals.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications:

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering is required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required; sponsorship is not available for this position.
