Job Overview

Position Summary: Our client is in search of a skilled Infrastructure Project Engineer to take a pivotal role in leading and managing engineering initiatives encompassing public works, transportation, construction oversight, and urban development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Capital Improvement Program projects
  • Facilitate communication with the public, contractors, and consultants, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Prepare and supervise engineering designs, specifications, and cost assessments for various capital improvement initiatives
  • Conduct site plan reviews, including specifications and stormwater management reports
  • Ensure stormwater compliance for Capital Improvement Program projects
  • Maintain and update engineering documentation
  • Act as the project engineer for multiple Capital Improvement Program projects
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with engineering staff
  • Perform additional related duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is mandatory
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not essential
  • Experience in paving, roadway and utility design, and land development
  • A minimum of 2 years of diverse civil engineering experience, including some supervisory roles
  • Valid Driver's License is required upon employment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
