Position Overview:

The Sales Executive is a field-oriented, direct sales position focused on both client retention and expansion through contract growth and the introduction of innovative products and services. You will engage with senior executives to formulate and execute a comprehensive, enterprise-wide strategy that enhances the value provided by Gartner's offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client accounts to achieve higher customer satisfaction and drive retention and growth.
  • Responsible for achieving a quota exceeding $800,000 in contract value within a designated territory of key client accounts.
  • Exhibit mastery and consistent application of Gartner's sales methodologies.
  • Conduct thorough account planning and territory management.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitive landscape and market focus.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Gartner's suite of products and services.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of demonstrated experience in consultative sales, ideally within high technology sectors (services, software, or consultative environments), with a track record of success in sales.
  • Exhibit strong intellect, motivation, executive presence, and sales expertise.
  • Proven ability to cultivate excellent relationships with C-level executives in large enterprise organizations.
  • Strong proficiency in computer skills and effective presentation capabilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the complete sales process lifecycle.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree is preferred.
