  • Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Exercise fiscal responsibility concerning expense management.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Gartner's product offerings and services.

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of external experience with a proven track record in consultative sales, ideally within high technology sectors (services, software, or hardware).
  • Ability to cultivate and manage relationships with C-level and senior executives in large multinational firms.
  • Demonstrated intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales expertise.
  • Proven capability in establishing strong client relationships, providing valuable insights and strategic guidance.
  • Ability to comprehend enterprise-wide challenges and devise innovative, integrated solutions that support IT decision-making for global organizations.
  • Thorough understanding of technology purchasing dynamics.
  • Extensive industry knowledge relevant to specific vertical markets by territory.
  • Strong proficiency in computer applications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to create and deliver impactful presentations to decision-makers at the executive level.
  • Language proficiency as dictated by territory requirements.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred; marketing expertise is advantageous.
