Job Summary

The Sheraton Augusta Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, the Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and presentation, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Development and Execution
    • Work with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items that showcase our hotel's commitment to quality and innovation.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate our culinary team, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform at their best.
  • Inventory Management
    • Work with our purchasing team to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our culinary needs.
  • Quality Control
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of quality in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.

Requirements

  • Culinary Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Leadership Skills
    • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Problem-Solving Skills
    • Ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
