The Center for New Beginnings is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing healing and hope to families through therapy. As a leading provider of mental health services, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Executive Director to lead our organization and achieve our mission and goals.

Job Summary

The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization, including financial management, program development, staff supervision, and volunteer engagement. This position requires a high degree of technical, communications, and interpersonal skills, as well as independent judgment and discretion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to establish strategic plans and goals that align with the organization's mission and vision.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff and volunteers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of annual operating and program budgets.
  • Manage the organization's financial position to ensure financial stability and accountability.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a talented team of employees who can lead critical departments and manage strategic business functions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, funders, and community partners.
  • Oversee the grant writing process to ensure the delivery of meaningful programs and consistent tracking of demographic data, outcomes metrics, and survey results.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive public relations strategy to promote the organization's mission and services.
  • Promote the organization at community events and through public speaking engagements.
  • Develop and oversee staff professional development programs to ensure employees have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
Qualifications
  • Minimum five years of experience managing a department or office, or equivalent combination of education, training, and related work experience required.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills required.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite applications, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides, required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Practicing clinician with at least three years of experience working with diverse populations preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret clinical reports and data preferred.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice Management Systems (PMS) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Behavior Analyst Certification Board's codes, rules, and standards preferred.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling, billing, and claims, medical coding, Medicaid and private insurance, sliding scale, write-offs, credentialing, and authorizations preferred.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, with evenings and weekends as needed. Position requires in-person hours at least three days a week, with minimal remote work not to exceed 16 hours per week unless necessary.
