Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Business Development Manager to join our team at Qualus. As a key member of our Specialized Field Services department, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities in our assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with operations, marketing, and sales leadership to implement a tactical marketing plan that drives revenue growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and pursue target strategic markets and clients.
  • Penetrate markets with product/service offerings, working closely with sales and leadership teams.
  • Establish and maintain productive peer-to-peer relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Support sales function initiatives by providing client relationship support and assisting with sales calls.
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities, plan, and execute growth strategies.
  • Oversee the negotiation of contracts process in collaboration with operations and legal teams.
  • Perform market research and analysis to stay competitive and current with industry trends.
  • Evaluate operational issues to determine the organization's competitive position.
  • Support the proposal process and ensure successful completion and submission to clients.
  • Monitor the external and internal environment to support the development of new market segments.
  • Support the development of marketing campaigns for new products and services.
  • Assist in developing an evaluation process to gain feedback from clients.
Requirements
  • Expertise in business development, sales, or marketing within the electrical services market.
  • Thorough understanding of electrical power systems and associated equipment.
  • Strong background in business development with a working knowledge of power systems.
  • Experience understanding customer needs and business drivers, and using this knowledge to develop account plans and strategies.
  • Strong leadership abilities, entrepreneurial spirit, and sense of urgency.
  • Able to manage time and prioritize workload independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in and across teams.
  • Cultivates new sales opportunities through effective competitive and market analysis.
  • Fosters and builds strong working relationships.
  • Strategic planning and tactical implementation skills.
