Department: Marketing and Business Development

Reports To: Director of Marketing

Location: East Coast and Mid-West

Employment Type: Full-Time Remote

 

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, with the ability to identify and secure new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and achieve sales targets within their designated region. This role requires a strategic thinker who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region to achieve and exceed sales targets.

- Develop and implement a regional business development strategy aligned with company goals.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, clients, and partners.

- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.

- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a high conversion rate.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute regional marketing campaigns.

- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the management team.

- Participate in industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking activities to promote the company’s services.

- Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the region.

- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the private lending industry.

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a regional capacity.

- Strong understanding of regional markets, including customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to travel within the region as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in mortgage or private lending industry.

- Advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.

- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities.
