JOB DESCRIPTIONWells Enterprises currently has an opening for a Business Development Manager on our AWG team, calling primarily on AWG Great Lakes & Upper Midwest. The Business Development Manager leads the development of business solutions at the AWG regional headquarters. The main goal is to generate more revenue for the company while also achieving profit and trade spend objectives.Responsibilities Include:Retail account development; Awareness of Customer Strategy and Performance; Knows customer policies and proceduresApply Cat Man principles; Converts data to insights; Uses insights to influence customer behavior; Demonstrates category knowledge and performance drivers; Awareness of key Consumer and Shopper InsightsVolume Forecast ManagementP&L/ Trade ManagementAccounts Payable ManagementAnnual joint business planningMonthly Business ReviewsAsset managementArranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective customersDiscover and explore new business opportunities with internal business case developmentDevelop ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or related field preferredMinimum of 4 years Account Selling experience with a CPG company required. AWG Headquarter call experience highly preferredGoal-oriented, organized team playerEager to expand the company with new sales by gaining new distribution in both region chains and independent customersAble to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectivelySelf-motivated and self-directedExperienced at preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projectsDemonstrated and proven sales resultsProficient computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)Wells Enterprises is an EEO/AA employer M/F/Vet/Dis#ZR
