Role Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned and strategic Head of Human Resources Operations to spearhead our HR team. This position is crucial in defining and executing our human resources strategy to cultivate a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce. The Head of Human Resources Operations will manage all HR functions, encompassing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily management and growth of the recruitment team, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as internal policies.
- Evaluate and enhance the talent acquisition strategy to secure highly qualified candidates for all positions.
- Establish a future talent pipeline for essential roles to attract a diverse range of top candidates.
- Develop strategies and lead the team in identifying opportunities and solutions to improve processes.
- Guide and mentor the HR team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Act as the primary Executive Recruiter, responsible for sourcing, screening, selecting, and onboarding executive-level talent.
- Manage the performance evaluation process, including goal setting, feedback, and performance assessments.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with company goals.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Formulate and implement policies and procedures that support company objectives and ensure legal compliance.
- Design and execute HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Administration or a related field is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role overseeing talent acquisition and other HR functions.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing, and expertise in MS Office suite and Google Workspace.
- In-depth knowledge of US Human Resources laws, practices, and procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with all levels of staff and leadership.
- Strong capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability for collaborative teamwork and building strong relationships.
- Experience in in-house recruitment is essential.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is advantageous.
