Position Summary:
We are in search of a seasoned and strategic Director of People Operations to spearhead our People Operations division. This critical role is essential in developing and executing our people strategy to cultivate a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce. The Director will manage all HR functions, encompassing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and growth of the recruiting team, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies.
- Evaluate and enhance the talent acquisition strategy to secure highly qualified candidates for all positions.
- Establish a proactive talent pipeline for key roles to attract a diverse array of top talent.
- Identify opportunities and implement solutions to optimize processes.
- Guide and mentor the People Operations team, ensuring alignment with the organization’s objectives.
- Act as the Executive Recruiter, managing the sourcing, screening, selection, and onboarding of executive-level candidates.
- Supervise the performance management system, including goal setting, feedback, and evaluations.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
- Guarantee adherence to local, state, and federal employment regulations.
- Formulate and execute policies and procedures that support company objectives and ensure legal compliance.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Administration or a related field is required; Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a management capacity overseeing talent acquisition and other HR functions.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing techniques, and familiarity with MS Office and Google Workspace.
- In-depth knowledge of US Human Resources laws, practices, and procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage diplomatically with all levels of staff and leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet varying deadlines.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships.
- Experience in in-house recruitment is essential.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
