Your Responsibilities...

Team Collaboration:
Work alongside fellow associates to cultivate a strong meat department; communicate effectively with team members; and adapt to the business's needs by assisting in other areas as necessary.

Expertise in Meat Handling:
Exhibit knowledge of operations on the sales floor, backroom procedures, product safety regulations, sanitation protocols, inventory oversight, and the operation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment; prepare meat products (such as cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming) in accordance with established standards; cut boneless meat items; and uphold product quality benchmarks.

Technological Proficiency:
Utilize digital tools to enhance sales, improve the shopping experience, and boost associate engagement; employ handheld technology to make immediate business decisions regarding production, training, and product quality with the customer in mind; adapt to new technologies and encourage others to do the same.

Ownership of Responsibilities:
Commit to operational excellence by maintaining the work area in line with company policies and procedures; ensure quality and date control standards for meat products; safeguard delicate and high-shrink items; minimize waste; assist customers with purchasing choices; and ensure that products are appropriately packaged, labeled, and stored according to company guidelines.

Advocacy for Talent:

Act as a champion for the department and the club by valuing the customer experience in the meat section and exemplifying high-quality service and products; execute fundamental tasks at the highest possible quality level; and demonstrate enthusiasm, dedication, and passion for the work.

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing relevant action plans; utilizing the Open Door Policy; and applying these principles in executing business processes and practices.

Complete work assignments and priorities by leveraging policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, colleagues, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; executing tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending methods to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, challenges, and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00* *The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be provided, ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances.

Premiums may be influenced by schedule, facility, season, or specific tasks performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
