Primus Auditing Ops, a leading third-party food safety auditing organization, is seeking to hire an Operations Coordinator. Our mission is to certify food safety initiatives within the agricultural industry. We deliver essential technical services to the fresh produce sector, ensuring the safe production and handling of agricultural products.

An Operations Coordinator is responsible for the precise execution of the administrative components of an audit and will oversee a varied clientele. You should possess strong communication skills to interact effectively across teams and departments, be adept at problem-solving and improvisation, and have the ability to estimate and manage time efficiently across multiple tasks. Adaptability to a dynamic work environment, along with meticulous attention to detail, is crucial. You must be skilled in prioritizing tasks and excel both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, monitoring performance metrics and suggesting actionable enhancements as needed.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with management and vendors to ensure the implementation of proper procedures.
  • Supply clients with the necessary documentation for audit schemes and review applications to confirm accuracy and proper archiving.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and provide information via email or telephone.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks within established deadlines.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among staff and vendors.
  • Draft vendor contracts and keep documentation organized.
  • Offer direct support to senior management and all departments.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a business-related field, high school diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Two to three years of experience in administrative support roles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Demonstrated work ethic, team-oriented attitude, punctuality, and commitment to the job.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and quick to learn new software and systems.

Compensation

This is a full-time onsite role offering competitive compensation and benefits.
