About the Role

Catalyst Recruiting, Inc is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead our multi-plant operations in California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement and management of our maintenance program, including our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure optimal equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Lead a team of 30 maintenance personnel, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Manage both operating and capital budgets, coordinating large capital projects with corporate.
  • Collaborate with plant managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with site safety and EHS initiatives.
  • Implement and improve Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) systems.
  • Manage and integrate all work with site safety and EHS programs.
  • Oversee automation and electrical maintenance, including systems and equipment.
  • Ensure the effective use of our online CMMS, TabWare, and leverage expertise in SAP if applicable.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or significant applicable experience (we can discuss alternatives).
  • Over 10 years of experience in planned/preventative maintenance/reliability work in minerals, chemicals, mining, utilities, or heavy industry.
  • Proven track record of working in an operating plant with hundreds of people, with a strong focus on safety and EHS.
