POSITION OVERVIEW

The Facilities and Security Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the integrity and functionality of all facilities and buildings.

This role involves supporting daily operations related to general maintenance, repairs, and modifications across all locations, including systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and various machinery.

The Coordinator will also oversee exterior landscaping and ensure the overall aesthetic of the facilities is well-maintained.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the upkeep of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and the repair of buildings and equipment across all locations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance tasks, including construction, remodeling, and preventative maintenance.
  • Assist in the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of building equipment and manage furniture and equipment disposition as needed.
  • Oversee grounds maintenance at all facilities.
  • Support daily administrative operations, including employee notification systems, access control, surveillance systems, alarm codes, and parking management.
  • Assist with alarm responses and employee call management.
  • Provide support during after-hours emergencies and special events as required.
  • Act as the primary contact for all security-related matters.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Facilities and Security.
QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position.   • Associate degree in a relevant field or two years of experience in facilities and/or security management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and web conferencing tools.

  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are desirable.
  • Experience in mission-driven, nonprofit organizations is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be able to travel within the geographic area as required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation is necessary.

Compensation

Planned Parenthood Arizona, Inc. offers a compensation structure that aligns with our mission and values. Each position is assigned a salary based on market standards and organizational pay scales. The starting salary for this position is $28.90 per hour, with opportunities for advancement.
In support of pay equity, we do not engage in salary negotiations.

Pay Differential: A $1.00 per hour bilingual differential is available upon successful completion of the language assessment.
