Position Overview:

The Project Management Associate (PMA) plays a crucial role in supporting the Project Management team to fulfill contractual commitments and uphold Amplity's standards for designated client initiatives. This position requires adept management of competing priorities and diverse client demands, utilizing effective prioritization and escalation when necessary. The ideal candidate will excel in gathering information, developing and maintaining essential project documentation, assisting Project Managers with various tasks, and managing project management data entry functions within Workday. A successful PMA will navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment while ensuring that both client expectations and Amplity's quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison among Project Managers, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate the delivery of contractual obligations and Amplity standards.
  • Coordinate various project-related activities, including but not limited to: managing data requirements within Workday, enhancing tools and templates for project management, facilitating information exchange among workstreams, and managing documentation processes.
  • Distribute communications to internal teams, field personnel, and clients.
  • Assist Project Managers with troubleshooting and escalating issues that may impact contract delivery.
  • Support Project Managers with additional project-related tasks as required.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned by the head of the Project Management department.

Key Collaborations:

  • Report to the Amplity VP within the Program and Project Management organizational structure.
  • Collaborate closely with Amplity Project Managers and other internal teams, including business line leadership, technology, finance, and compliance.
  • May interact directly with clients and vendors to support client projects.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer service role, supporting external clients.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Effective decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong executive decision-making abilities.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or contract service organization sectors.
  • Familiarity with Workday, MS Teams, Zoom, and Webex.
