Role Overview:
A Project Manager (PM) is essential for overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction. The PM collaborates with various stakeholders to execute project activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily project communications, scheduling, and task lists for technical teams.
  • Oversee project deliverables, ensuring timely completion and high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop strong, long-term client relationships through effective communication and expectation management.
  • Coordinate project activities, delegating responsibilities and leading meetings.
  • Monitor budgets and provide support to team members to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site verifications and document potential issues.
  • Facilitate design reviews and coordinate programming and system checkouts.

Complexity and Decision-Making:
Each project presents unique challenges, requiring the PM to navigate complex variables among stakeholders. The ability to communicate effectively and manage expectations is crucial for success.

Physical and Travel Requirements:
The role may involve regular exposure to construction environments, necessitating adherence to safety protocols. Frequent travel is expected, with local job site visits comprising a significant portion of the role.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • PMP certification is preferred; AVIXA CTS certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience is required.
  • Familiarity with audio/video systems and low voltage electrical projects is advantageous.

Desired Skills:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with effective leadership and organizational abilities, are essential for this role. The PM should be adept at problem-solving and managing risks while maintaining a client-focused approach.
