Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Business Development Manager to recruit and engage automotive OEMs for strategic partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth, excellent analytical capabilities, and project management skills. They will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with senior leaders in automotive OEMs, identifying and prioritizing opportunities for business growth, and managing client expectations.

This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders, and a deep knowledge of the Automotive landscape.

The successful candidate will be an excellent oral and written communicator, with the ability to develop strong, one-to-one relationships and possess a track record of successful negotiation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with senior leaders in automotive OEMs
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for business growth with these clients
  • Manage client expectations and advocate internally for their needs
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience
  • 7+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
