About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Executive to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and profitability across our distributor portfolio. You will work closely with our marketing, product development, and product management teams to provide distributors with effective category management strategies that grow value share.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain top-to-top relationships with customers and set the strategy for each to grow profitably.
  • Lead the execution of quarterly customer initiatives and encourage innovative ideas that achieve breakthrough results.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and product management to provide distributors with effective category management strategies that grow value share.
  • Take charge with customer insight gathering, price intelligence, forecasting, customer development planning, customer service delivery, and contract / price management.
  • Manage/Lead the RFP process and ensure broker teams are fully ready to execute initiatives with excellence.
  • Ensure the broker is executing against distributor's lost customers, customers not buying, and non-core non-aligned targeted operator lists.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional representation to ensure that Bimbo delivers the full depth and breadth of resources required to deliver mutual benefits/results against annual business plan.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Combination of 5 years of experience with significant foodservice sales experience with broad line distribution.
  • Strong foodservice industry knowledge and category expertise
  • Sales experience with a brokered go-to-market model
  • Ability to prepare, implement, influence, and execute collaborative annual business plans.
  • Strong P&L knowledge
  • Ability to lead, prioritize, collaborate, and execute complex projects
  • Self-motivator, able to work on his or her own, team mindset
  • Able and willing to travel up to 50% of the time
