The Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health (QESH) management system at FutureScape embodies over five decades of our commitment to excellence. We uphold rigorous standards, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 22000, which guarantees superior quality, environmental responsibility, and health and safety across all operations.

As a member of the QESH team, you will be part of a close-knit, dynamic group that values collaboration and maintains a positive, proactive work environment where every contribution is acknowledged.

Key Responsibilities

The QESH Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing and promoting the company's quality, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring their consistent application throughout the organization. Reporting directly to the plant manager, you will lead a team of two technicians, guiding them to uphold our high standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your role is vital in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and enhancing our commitment to a safe and sustainable workplace.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Management and Maintenance: Oversee and maintain management systems for:
    • Occupational Health and Safety
    • Quality (ISO 9001)
    • Environment (ISO 14001)
    • Food Safety (ISO 22000)
  • Continuous Improvement Projects: Develop and implement initiatives focused on continuous improvement within Operations and across the organization utilizing Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with the company's policies regarding Quality, Environment, Food Safety, and Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Process Efficiency: Enhance the efficiency of processes related to Quality, Environment, Food Safety, Continuous Improvement, and Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster effective processes, information sharing, and service flows with other departments.
  • Sustainability Program: Develop and manage initiatives focused on sustainability, waste reduction, and energy efficiency.
  • Product Approval: Maintain and update product approvals, coordinating with relevant authorities and laboratories.
  • Preventive Maintenance Management: Oversee preventive maintenance of facilities.
  • Project Support and Development: Assist in the development of new installations and product projects.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management within an industrial setting.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Engineering background necessary for technical analysis and monitoring of production processes.
  • Conversational proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001, 22000, 14000, and 55000 standards.
  • Experience in safety management.

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in Integrated Management (Quality, Environment, Food Safety).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
