POSITION SUMMARY :

The primary objective of this role is to effectively generate non-media leads and enhance local visibility through Direct Marketing Programs (Canvassing), while adhering to a predetermined budget for spending and lead generation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (7 bullet maximum):

Leads a team of Direct Marketing Associates (canvassers) with a hands-on approach, providing motivation and guidance to help the team achieve daily, weekly, and monthly objectives. Recruits, hires, and trains Direct Marketing Associates (DMA) utilizing cost-effective recruitment strategies, including collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team when necessary. Supervises all DMA field operations, which includes in-field and office training, role-playing, daily briefings, field oversight, and team motivation. Cultivates the culture of the local Proximity Marketing team by exemplifying desired behaviors and techniques, with a strong emphasis on role-playing the company's methodologies. Monitors and mentors each team member in the field to ensure adherence to established procedures, scripts, and customer service standards. Handles administrative responsibilities such as coordinating canvassing logistics, utilizing company software for mapping and tracking, managing permit logistics, maintaining scripts and flyers, and verifying leads collected during shifts. Provides insights to managers, general managers, sales managers, and team members regarding neighborhoods and areas where Renewal by Andersen's offerings can be showcased to generate qualified leads and appointments.
Directs a team of Direct Marketing Associates.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :

High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED); a college degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience demonstrating the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. At least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity within canvassing or face-to-face marketing initiatives, with a proven track record of developing, motivating, and leading high-performing teams to meet sales objectives. Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding training programs, effectively coach and mentor individuals, and inspire teams to achieve their goals. Strong coaching skills to empower and develop team members. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with strong analytical capabilities to convert data into actionable insights. Proven strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges and devise effective solutions to achieve long-term objectives. Ability to analyze market trends, audience insights, and performance data to formulate and implement successful marketing strategies. Strong organizational skills, adept at prioritizing tasks, managing time efficiently, and overseeing budgets to maximize productivity and meet financial goals. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for this position.
