Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Technician to join our team at ABM Industries. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities' hard floors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and perform stripping, scrubbing, buffing, refinishing, or sealing of different types of hard surfaced floors using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
  • Schedule and perform carpet cleaning using approved methods and chemicals.
  • Spot clean carpets as needed.
  • Secure working areas, using appropriate safety barricades, and remove when duties are completed and area is safe for public use.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all equipment being utilized and report any issues with the equipment to supervisors immediately.
  • Report any safety hazards noticed during routine work assignments.
  • Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations in the carrying out of assigned work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • No experience required, and on-the-job training will be provided.
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • One year of similar work experience is preferred.
