Key Responsibilities

The QESH Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and advocating for the company's quality, safety, and environmental initiatives, ensuring their effective implementation across all operations. Reporting directly to the plant manager, you will lead a team of two technicians, guiding them in maintaining our high standards and driving ongoing improvement efforts. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and enhancing our commitment to a safe and sustainable workplace.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Management Systems: Oversee and maintain systems for Occupational Health and Safety, Quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001), and Food Safety (ISO 22000).
• Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement initiatives aimed at continuous improvement across operations, utilizing Lean manufacturing principles.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.
• Policy Compliance: Guarantee adherence to company policies regarding Quality, Environment, Food Safety, and Occupational Health and Safety.
• Process Optimization: Enhance the efficiency of processes related to Quality, Environment, Food Safety, and Occupational Health and Safety.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster effective communication and service flows with other departments.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and manage programs focused on sustainability, waste reduction, and energy efficiency.
• Product Compliance: Maintain and update product approvals in coordination with relevant departments.
• Preventive Maintenance: Oversee preventive maintenance of facilities.
• Project Development: Support and contribute to new installation and product development projects.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management within an industrial setting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Engineering background to facilitate technical analysis and monitoring processes.
• Conversational proficiency in English.
• Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001, 22000, 14001, and 55000 standards.
• Experience in safety management.

Preferred:

• Master's Degree in Integrated Management (Quality, Environment, Food Safety).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
