The Global IT Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in the management and administration of IT services, applications, and systems. This position is essential for ensuring the seamless integration and automation of IT processes, particularly within the ServiceNow ITSM framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical liaison between administrative teams and both technical and business stakeholders.
- Oversee the technical delivery management of various services and technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
- Lead discussions with stakeholders to present key performance indicators and project statuses.
- Gather and assess customer and technical requirements, providing expert guidance on assigned services.
- Direct small project teams across different functional areas to achieve service delivery goals.
- Manage daily operations of assigned services, ensuring functionality and addressing any issues that arise.
- Implement enhancements to ITIL Service Transition Processes, focusing on knowledge management, change control, and service validation.
- Design and implement integrated and automated technical solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; or 8 years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Proven ability to leverage data for system improvements and operational enhancements.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical language into business terms.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, SQL, and command line scripting.
- Familiarity with IT monitoring tools and workload automation technologies.
