Position Overview:
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will provide critical operational guidance and oversight for the transition of solutions and enhancements aimed at optimizing services and executing the technical roadmap of N&NC. This role supports the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM).

Impact of the Role:
  • Deliver hardware and software engineering services to enhance the N&NC enterprise architecture.
  • Provide technical expertise and conduct Tier III systems engineering tasks for IT infrastructure, including the design and maintenance of network, server, and storage systems.
  • Assist in planning and executing enterprise upgrades or modifications, including routine equipment failures and lifecycle replacements.
  • Utilize systems engineering skills to analyze and support enterprise availability and capacity monitoring.
  • Evaluate enterprise systems, identify issues, and propose technical solutions.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including system designs, implementation strategies, and administrative guides.

Qualifications for Success:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of related experience is essential.

Technical Skills and Certifications:
  • Must hold appropriate certifications for the designated role as per DoD requirements.
  • Possess a DoD approved baseline certification or higher.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Computing Environment (CE) certification for the primary tool or device used, such as Azure or Nutanix.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is competitive and based on experience and location.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
